Grief Services and Support
Grief can be a difficult journey. If you are struggling, or need some extra support, there are a variety of local services to fit your needs. You don’t have to grieve alone.
One-to-One Peer Support
GrieveWell Peer Counselors are volunteers from the community who have been through their own grief journey and have acclimated to their loss. Under the support and direction of a licensed social worker, GrieveWell Peer Counselors are matched with individuals who have had a more recent loss, and meet with them weekly to provide compassionate support. They understand the confusion. The sadness. The anger. The ups and downs. They are individuals who have lost a spouse, partner, child, parent, pet, and/or close friend. And they have learned to live a full life after loss.
GrieveWell offers a variety of workshops for those in grief, their family and friends, and community organizations and businesses. Topics include understanding grief, how to support someone in grief, grief in the workplace, and many others.
